ACTUALIZACIÓN 25/05/2022
El pasado lunes, Onyx pasó por quirófano para retirar la placa de su pata que estaba rechanzando.
Ayer mismo volvimos a llevar a Onyx al traumatólogo con la peor de las sospechas, que se confirmaron en consulta, Onyx se ha vuelto a romper la misma pata.
Si observáis las radiografías, el hueso estaba sumamente fino y en cualquier movimiento, no ha aguantado la presión.
Tras la visita, los pasos que tenemos que seguir son los siguientes:
- Primero debe estar dos semanas de reposo con un vendaje de inmovilización que hay que cambiar cada dos días para hacer cura y tratamiento antibiótico y antinflamatorio.
- Una vez pasadas esas dos semanas, debe ir a revisión para valorarla y en función de la evolución, programar la cirugía.
- La cirugía consistirá en ponerle una placa bloqueada, separada del hueso, necesitará injerto de hueso y plasma enriquecido.
- Los dos meses posteriores a la cirugía, seguirá con antibiótico, Oscan (calcio +Vit D) y tratamiento de magnetoterapia.

Onyx estaba junto a una carretera con una de sus patas delanteras rota.
Es una perra muy sumisa y dulce. No hace ni un mal gesto al manipularla, ni siquiera cuando la llevamos al veterinario.

UPDATE 05/25/2022
Last Monday, Onyx had a surgery to remove the plate from her leg that she was rejecting.
Yesterday we took Onyx back to the traumatologist with the worst of suspicions, which were confirmed by the specialist, Onyx got the same leg broken again.
If you look at the X-rays, his bone was extremely thin and in any movement, it has not withstood the pressure.
After the visit, the steps we have to follow are the following:
- First she must be two weeks of rest with an immobilization bandage that must be changed every two days to cure and antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment.
- Once those two weeks have passed, she must go for review to assess it and depending on the evolution, schedule surgery.
- Surgery will consist of putting a blocked plate, separated from the bone, she will need bone graft and enriched plasma.
- Two months after surgery, she will continue with antibiotics, Oscan (calcium + Vit D) and magnetotherapy treatment.

Onyx was standing by a road with one of her front legs broken.
She is a very submissive and sweet dog. She doesn't make a nasty gesture when handling her, not even when we take her to the vet.
